Let's make Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 sliced peaches

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar 

  • 1 tsp baking powder 

  • 1/4tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon & nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (pieces)


Directions:

Slice the peaches and in a bowl mix in the cornstarch, vanilla extract, and brown sugar.


In a separate mixing bowl, mix together the all purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, oats, cinnamon & nutmeg.


In this same bowl, mix in the melted unsalted butter to make a crumbly texture.


Prepare baking dish with a thin layer of butter.


Then pour your peaches in and smooth out for an even layer.


Layer your crumble mixture over top of the peaches.


Cut up 2 tbsp of butter into pieces, to drop around the top of the crumble topping.


Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes


*Bake time will vary depending on the dish size or oven type! 

Pay attention during baking!


Remove from oven when golden brown/when the peaches are bubbling around the sides. Let it cool a bit before eating! Then enjoy!
